3010. Still With The Light

Good morning, everybody. It is Saturday we practice meditation together. What we are meditating on today is Still within the Light. Time for us to sit down together and practice.

May all the sentient beings be free of suffering and may all of us on the 4th of July have peace, happiness and enjoy with the family.  May all our families be blessed.

Let us sit down. Put the right hand on top of the left hand. Still be with the light, the inner light, the wisdom light. We follow the mindfulness meditation and the energy of the three mantras that we are chanting. The compassion mantra, Mu A Mu Sa, the wisdom mantra Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, and the awakened mantra, Ma Sa Op Ue.

While we breathe in and breathe out chanting the mantra, we observe the compassion energy connects with all the Buddhas and lighting up our wisdom to be awake, aware of whatsoever comes and goes. Just be there observing and receive the energy. Also that we offer our merits, our good energy to all our friends, our families. Let’s begin.

May all of you receive the energy from the Buddha today.

Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point. Breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantras:

Mu A Mu Sa, Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, Ma Sa Op Ue (7x)

Just keep doing the breathing technique and chanting the mantra silently.

It is good for us to be filled with the energy especially when we connect with the univers through the enlightened ones, through all the Buddhas. When we breathe in, we take it in very slowly. Fill with every action, every thought, every sensation that the physical body feels. No matter what. We don’t make any judgements. Stay calm by breathing in and out. Be aware physically, mentally and spiritually.

All the mantras we are chanting are just like a bridge for us to be able to walk through the darkness and connect with the Buddha and receive the energy. When Mu A Mu Sa, the compassion energy is chanted, it creates a vibration, we fill with the frequency of the energy flowing within us, continuing with the wisdom energy Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng. Most of us, everyone, if you do it right, will see light, the inner light.  Very colorful depending on how we are. When we see that light, we just maintain ourselves to be still with that.  Just watch but be with. When the light is on the top of your head, there is a warm energy flowing in your body. The vibration is stronger, like a wave on the ocean. You feel on the top pof your head between your eyebrows, where we call the third eye.

That time energy will connect with the spiritual energy from those mantras. Increases up the frequency that flows within to awaken all the energy which has been sleeping and make them flow. We continuing to breathe in and out, we just be with all the energy flowing and observe it and allow the energy to transform itself naturally.

We just relax, and just be with the light. There is nothing else we just do. We just learn to be one with. No matter what happens, just feel the energy flowing within us.

The third mantra is really important. We call it the awakened mantra.  When our minds lead us away we chant Ma Sa Op Ue to help our mind make a U-turn back here in the moment. We just maintain our thoughts to be very pure and unshakable. Just be there and still.

Physically, when we practice, all of us will fill with the energy flow and the vibration just keeps moving. We are guiding the energy to whoever we can offer it to. Could be our parents, husband, wife, family, friend, or sangha. We just pray with that offering of the merit energy to all, may all of them be healthy, be happy Meditation is more like taking care of the garden, the spiritual garden within. We water it with the breathing in and out mindfulness breathing, and we take care of it with the energy we chant.

We don’t have to hold your body tight and still. Because the body itself is full of the energy. It will flow. Just like the boat. Let the water on the river flow around. Just relax. Let the spiritual energy from the Buddha, the compassion, wisdom, and awakened energy bring the body mind and spirit together. When we breathe in slowly there is not hurry. Even when you breathe out, just take your time.

Breathe in through your nose and cary it down lower, expanding your belly. That helps the energy flow. When you breathe out, you sunken your belly very slowly and you chanting the mantras slowly.

Just relax in the body mind and spirit will be naturally connected together. At some point you will feel the transmission from the Buddha, as you receive greater energy every second.

No matter what part of your body you feel the energy, just let it free to be. Watching from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. Just watch and relax.

Our meditation is the healing meditation, physically, mentally, and spiritually. The compassion, wisdom, and the awaken mantra are help you to connect with all the Buddhas to receive the energy. Right there when the energy flows, the process of healing starts.

The more we practice, the more we offer our energy for other, and the more energy we will receive. Maintain the stillness with the light. Just watch. If you see the light within your head, just watch. Don’t predict it, don’t guess. Just watch as it is.

See whatever from yourself that hurts you. Keep your mind there . The energy will flow down there to wherever you are focused, and it will heal. Mentally the same. Remember the key to allow the energy to flow is to forgive. Forgive others and ourselves.

Keep breathing in and out, and just relax. There is nothing to do but maintain the still with the light. The inner light will guide us through  Let it be free to be. With this special independence holiday, this meditation also set ourselves to be independent. The special transformation will be when we understand that all the suffering is created by the attachment, let go of all attachments for the light to be that we still with. Together we offer our merit to all. May all of our friends, our family our community, receive the compassion energy to be fully awake to be peaceful, to enjoy life this long weekend and for the rest of their lives. Together here at the Frederick meditation hall we all offer our energy to all. Mya all be blessed by the Buddha, and enjoy this independence fourth of July.

Let’s breathe in, expanding our bellies. Hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point. Breathe out, sunken the belly, chanting the mantras and receiving the energy to offer to all.

Mu A Mu Sa, Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, Ma Sa Op Ue. (7x)
