2045. Flow Without Expectation | Mantra#2 – NamMo TaMo TaMo DaRaHoang

Good Morning to all my friends who are ready to practice meditation with me. Let’s sit down and relax. Let go of everything and together let’s start.

Na Mo Shakyamuni. May all be blessed and may all sentient beings be free of suffering and receive compassion and wisdom energy from all Buddhas from the ten directions.

Let’s put the right hand on top of the left hand. Just relax. Relaxing your entire body, mind. It is very important. Our meditations hour, early on every Saturday helping us to go back to center our life and connecting us with all our loved ones and offer our merits to all.   We practice to activate our awareness. Especially using the mindfulness breathing technique and the two mantras, the compassion and wisdom mantras. Yes, when we practice, we connect with all Buddhas and receive a greater energy and follow our lives.

When we breathe in we carry it down to our lower body and we are expanding our belly. We hold it there for three seconds, then we concentrate by the heaven gate point which is right in front of the tail bone. Then we sunken our belly, and we breathe out, chanting the mantras. #1 Mu A Mu Sa, #2 Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng.

We meditate on compassion and wisdom to know ourselves much better every day. Now we are thinking about all of our loved ones and offer our merit to all now. Let’s practice.

Breathe in, expanding the belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken our belly, chanting the mantra:

Mu A Mu Sa      Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng (7x)

Just be silent, and listen to your body. Be aware of the energy flowing within. We share the meaning of flow without expectation. Flow without expectation. Buddha said, the more expectations we create for ourselves, the more suffering will come and makes us crazy. Being now, meaning that living now, know exactly what we are doing, most importantly, we never care. But it is important being with how you are now. When we practice meditation with our group, we are practicing with the energy. The energy which provides and connects us directly to all Buddhas, the enlightened ones, through our physically, through our six senses we feel the energy flow. No desire or expectation. Just observing the energy, and we allow the energy to flow naturally, just like a river. We build no damns. Expectations mean we build up something to stop the water flow. We have to remove all kinds of expectations and just let nature take care of itself. The water will flow, and it just flows.

When we are chanting the mantras Mu A Mu Sa every one of us who practices will receive a greater energy from all Buddhas that we fill with that flowing within us. All we do is just watch and relax. Let the energy flow. It could start from any part of your body. You just follow the breathing technique in and out aware of any energy flowing within you and allow it to flow. That way you slowly engage with the energy, to be one with the energy. The energy itself, comes from the Buddha. We call it compassion and wisdom energy. The energy knows exactly what to to clean up any negative energy. When it flows we recognize the negative energy that is there. It could be from the past or the future. The energy flows and eases the worries, and helping us to have a stable mind to realize all things surrounding us happen in the way as it is. Compassion energy is very important. In life, if we are missing compassion energy it is no good at all. Buddha always reminds us to go back and engage with the compassion energy within and connect with all. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas through the compassion energy. We suffer because we always building up our expectations, and make other people meet our expectations. If not, we become disappointed and dissatisfied. We feel bad, and unhappy.

Every small action from others not meeting our expectations makes us feel uncomfortable. Buddha says meditation is like mother earth. The earth has no expectations. All of us should do as the earth does. Mother earth is just there for us to be. Compassion means very big, no boundaries, no limitations. There is enough space for all to be.

Because we are totally different, compassion, like mother earth. There is enough time and space to do what we wish. The earth is never upset, disappointed, or dissatisfied. Always there for us to just be. When the compassion energy is flowing within us, it is helping us a lot because it is bringing back unity between the body and mind.

In order to transform our suffering, we need to remind ourselves no need to create any expectation with anyone we associate with. Every one of us, even within the family, husband, wife, children, mother, dad. All are different no one is the same of the other. There is no way to have one mind set for all to do. Respect each other by setting no expectations about each other, but always offer our compassion and wisdom toward others, and give our loved ones a good opportunity to perform and pursue their happiness through all actions, thoughts, what they think is the best for them to do.

So, when you breathe in and out, it really produces a good energy for ourselves because the mantra connects us with all Buddha’s the enlightened ones. There is a good energy flow within us now. If you listen, you will find there is the energy. It could be on the top of your head, or it could be down to the tip of you toe. No matter what part of your body, be with the energy where it starts to flow, and let it flow. It is very helpful. It purifies and transforms your entire body. It also helps you know yourself much better every day.

When you breathe in you know that you expand your belly, our belly expanding by the energy that is down there, just like the ocean. Visualize that as the ocean of love, compassion, wisdom.

The mantra Mu A Mu Sa makes all living things in the ocean of wisdom and compassion to be free as it is. We don’t have to be God to create, to recreate, to make judgements. Just be one with all because love is the key for us to be, not judgement. All the differences between one an another make the world richer and more beautiful. We learn to enjoy our life with all the differences around us. Help us to guide that concept to work in our life. We practice following the energy flow within us. Need no guiding to guide the energy flow because the energy from the Buddha is very intelligent. It needs no help from us, but it needs us to observe, to take in, to be one, and to flow with. Create no expectations to separate ourself from the energy. The celebration between us and the energy is leading us to be a part of our own self.  Separation is no good if we create more expectations. The more expectations the more distance we will have from ourselves. Look back to what causes you suffering, we all know it is just because we have too much expectations about those we love or care for. We create too much expectations for each other. Because of that we suffer more. Most of our suffering comes from expectations from each other. Improve the highest quality of living, means to go back to the truth of who and how we are to live. The compassion energy from Mu A Mu Sa and the wisdom energy from Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng is very helpful.

When the energy flows around our body we don’t have to guide or direct it. Open up our mind. Relax. For every single cell in the body receives the energy.  Just relax. What part of your body you feel the tension raises up you just relax, allow the energy to flow. If you feel the body moving around just let it move. When I practice, even now, I feel a lot of energy within my body. My body is just like the boat on the river, the water makes the boat move around, my body is just like the boat flowing by the energy, left to right, forward or backward, no mater what.  I feel ever single cell of my body full of the energy and it flows.

Our bodies are self-storage, all kinds of energies are within there. Everything we do creates the positive or the negative and stays in our cells, impacting our life in a good way or a bad. We have a good choice to use ourselves as a storage to store a good and positive energy. The compassion energy and the wisdom energy will be stored into every single cell in ourselves and transform all negative energy there for us to live in a happy way. The best way to help ourselves is to remember there is no need to create any expectation from each other.

Flow like a river, like a cloud. Free each other to be. Within this universe there is always the space for us and for others to be. Respect the difference from each other. Create no limitations of the mental state by raising up a lot of expectations from each other. Just offer our love and merit to all. Caring for each other means listening to each other. In order to practice the art of listening we listen to our energy flowing within us. Just listen to the energy. Return back to the nature within this body.  This body is just like the boat to carry us from one side of the river. The other side of the earth to meet each other.

With this body we allow the energy to flow with no expectations. It will carry us to reach to the other side to meet other people with the true love and care. This week, this Saturday, we all remind ourselves there is no need to create any expectations from each other.

In this moment we are thinking about our loved ones, especially our parents, our family, friends and Sangha, our master and friend. We connect with them all and the more we connect with them through the compassion and wisdom energy makes it easier for us to take down any expectations we have built within each other, so we can each step forward to meet each other with love and care. May all be blessed and may the wisdom and compassion energy from all Buddhas connect to the Buddha within us and to transform and take down any expectations we have created for each other. May all be free of suffering and have peace.

Let’s breathe in, expanding the belly, hold it there for three seconds. Concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken our belly, chanting the mantra.

Mu A Mu Sa      Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng (5x)

Thank you. That is all for every Saturday we practice together. Our meditation is healing meditation. Receiving the energy and healing ourselves every day. Once again thank you very much, and we will see you next Saturday. Have a good weekend.
