2014: Empty To Be Free | Mantra#2 – NamMo TaMo TaMo DaRaHoang

Good Morning

Today is Father’s Day Saturday, the day we all remember about our Father, our loved one, our very best friend. So, let’s begin our meditation and offer our merit energy to our father especially.

May all sentient beings be free of suffering and may all be blessed by Buddha and receive a great compassion energy and wisdom. May all our fathers be happy, peaceful, and healthy.

Let’s put your right hand on top of your left hand. Just sit down in the position that you feel comfortable loosen up your body and relax. It is wonderful in the early Saturday Morning the day we call Father’s Day, we relax. We are thinking about our father. Of course, our mom too, both our parents. Let the merit and compassion energy connect with them. Let the wisdom energy connect with them. Let the Buddha being with our life to activate our compassion and wisdom. Our meditation is a meditation on the compassion, “Mu A Mu Sa”.  Mu A Mu Sa is the mantra that means compassion. Every time we are mindful with the breathing and chanting the mantra slowly, we actually activate our compassion energy and connect with all Buddhas and also receive, receive the compassion energy from the Buddha to you. Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng is the mantra that helps us to meditate on the wisdom. The wisdom needs to be lighting up for us to see through. So, by meditating on wisdom and compassion. It helps us to slowly see through to transform our life.

Let’s begin with the breathing technique. Just relax. Observing with the mind very humble to just receive. Make yourself just receive. Just receive. Allow the energy to flow and just receive and let the energy be with the body, the mind, and the spirit.

Let’s breathe in, expanding the belly, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken the belly, chanting the mantra:

Mu A Mu Sa     Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng  (3x)

You just be silent and keep meditating and chanting silently. You know the energy especially compassion and wisdom energy really needed to help us to be free of all, and to see the reality of our life and transform our negative energy, remove it. And connect to receive more positive energy from the Buddha. When our physical body is stuck, the energy does not flow, we become sick. When our mind is stuck, the energy does not flow, a lot of negative energy makes our mind heavy, and also produces a lot of negative thoughts. It is not good. It is not healthy at all.

In life if you talk about material. We always carry into our home. We go out, whatsoever we like, we carry in. that is why, especially now June and July and August, Summertime in America. We put all what we don’t need in a yard sale because in time we see we have no more space in the garage, in our home. We have to remove. On the other hand, we need to empty the garage, our home, to free ourself to have more space. That is the truth. We know that. We have been doing that every year to free the space in our home our living quarters, home sweet home. But we forget that we still carry in and carry on all what we no longer need. In the past or whatsoever negative in our thoughts in our mind. Meeting each other we talk about things we don’t need to. The conversation starts with negative things from the past. We cannot empty our mind because we seem to be attached to whatsoever is already gone. Yes, our mind is full, full of what? Full of what we don’t need. Full of thoughts that are no longer healthy. Buddha teaches us we need to empty our mind for us not to be really nothing in there, but increase the capacity of our mind to receive more, not to hold. Our mind has a very special, unlimited capacity to receive. So empty to be free, that is good. Very good. Look, how come our Daddy is still always loving us because in his mind, even though very busy about all kinds of things he needs to do for living to take care of us, to take care of the family, he always is loving us. Nothing else could remain inside his mind for so long to push us away. His mind is so empty because of love. So empty to be free, free to love, with respect. That is the way. If we can balance our mind and maintain that kind of thought. It is very healthy. Our physical body will be strong, mentally we will be peaceful, and our spirit very positive.

Every year we think and reevaluate make a very special resolution and make a list of what to do and what not to do. Yes, that is good. Buddha is teaching us very much the same. We have to reevaluate our life. Make a special resolution of what not to do and what to do. It means the same thing that we need to stand up for ourselves and empty our life, empty our thoughts, empty our minds. We have to make a list of what not to do, so it doesn’t happen again. Put down a very clear and clean list of what we should do. The Mantra Mu A Mu Sa helps us a lot because it activates our compassion connecting us with all Buddhas from ten directions. Empowers ourselves for us to have a good chance to receive a compassion energy, physically. The compassion energy that we receive vibrates and liberates us to be free. Therefore, every time we are mindful with our breathing and chanting the mantra Mu A Mu Sa, we all receive a lot of energy. Just like the earth receives the rain and water to absorb it and grow, life will be seen. If we practice right. Observing and receiving the compassion energy raining upon our life physically. The true life, positive life and energy will grow. We feel it, we know it. Now I am talking, but if you check your body, feel your body, you will feel the energy flowing. This is the truth. Our meditation is working with the energy. Really, really with energy that we are all filled with. Feel the energy flow within your body. Let is flow. The energy needs to flow to make the space to set you free, and to transform all negative energy. Compassion energy is really needed. Mu A Mu Sa activates us to connect with all Buddhas and receive the compassion energy. In the mantra: Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng is lighting up our wisdom for us to be awake so we be able to be aware of whatever is happening. Also, the compassion energy helps us to remove for what we are aware of is no longer needed.

Empty to be free is true, is wonderful. If right now you realize it and you let go of all to be empty. Empty means no attachment. Don’t attach to anything. It comes and goes. Buddha says all phenomena is impermanent. It comes and it goes. Never exists forever. Then we don’t have to attach. When it comes, we know it comes. We bless us with the compassion, we see it through the wisdom. We see it for real. When it goes we let it go, we don’t hold it back. That way we are always healthy and peaceful.

Now thinking about our fathers. All the fathers in the world. All the fathers that I know. All the fathers that are here still. May all the fathers receive a good compassion energy and the wisdom to be healthy, to be peaceful, to be happy and live long and enjoy life. We always love you father, we always love all the fathers. We are always thinking about you, may Buddha bless you all. Happy Father’s day.

Let’s breath in, expanding our belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point. Breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra:

Mu A Mu Sa    Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng (3x)

Just make yourself humble and receive. Every Saturday when we practice, a great energy flows around connects us together like a very good network. Every one of us is able to fill with the energy. Right now, I ask all of you to just relax and fill with the energy. You know, even though we are watching on YouTube and Facebook, now or even after. We all still filling with the energy. We practice with the energy. The compassion and wisdom energy. Compassion and wisdom in Buddhism is really important because this is a great energy to help us transform, to empty our life, to purify our spirit, our mind, and body. To maintain happiness and peacefulness for us to live and enjoy, but not suffer.

Remember today is a special day, Father’s Day. Let our mind flow and reach to our father, connect with our father. Even though our father already transformed, no longer here on earth.  I know for sure he is still connected with us deeply. Let the compassion and wisdom connect within. We offer our best merit like a special gift. For those fathers still living with us. We are very grateful because our father is still here. We offer to our father or to our children’s father, the best gift of Mu A Mu Sa and Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, which means compassion and wisdom energy.

We always maintain the highest, high quality of all energy that flows within us that we receive directly from the Buddha. We bless ourselves by practicing. We bless ourselves by receiving and we bless ourselves by offering what we receive, what we practiced, to all sentient beings to be free of suffering. Empty to be free. That is the key for us. To open the door to step toward but not to get stuck with the past.

Just fill with the energy. Just let the energy flow. Every second of life we be mindful, mindful with our energy, mindful to connect with the Buddha. Mindful with the compassion energy and wisdom. Mindful with our living no matter what. Mindful with our thoughts, the way we talk, the way we react, the reactions. Mindful of the environment we are living with friends. Remember we are all different, but have the same goal. That is to achieve peacefulness, and happiness and to be free.

Let’s go very deep into the breathing techniques with me and chanting the mantra with me. Let’s observe the energy, and just receive the energy. And let us connect with our father, the father of our children, all the fathers around the world, even in the spiritual world connect with all our fathers. Let the energy flow to all. Let us celebrate the Father’s Day in good spirit. Let’s be with me please.

Breathe in, expanding the belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breaths out, sunken the belly, chanting the mantra:

Mu A Mu Sa    Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng (3x)

Thank you. All we do is practice meditation to activate and cultivate our compassion and wisdom. We don’t talk about religion even though I am a Buddhist monk, because in life we don’t need to talk about Buddhism, but we need to connect with our compassion and wisdom. Buddha is a teacher still. All his teaching helps us maintain the good energy. He promotes us to be a scientist agent of ourselves, to discover the truth of living, the highest quality of living. The living with mindfulness. To be full of the energy to offer our lives for other. For us to be free to enjoy happiness and peaceful. Every Saturday I am sitting on YouTube and Facebook. Today I am actually in Minnesota. Thanks to the technology I am still able to spend time with you every Saturday at 8:00 AM Eastern time. In Minnesota we start at 7. We practice together through the phone on YouTube and Facebook. And we connect with the highest energy from all the Buddhas in the 10 directions. Thank you for practicing for health, for peacefulness, for the strongest living spirit we can share with each other.

Today is Father’s Day. I love to say happy Father’s Day to all fathers. I ask you and send out to you a special invitation to maintain the practice at home and with me every Saturday. You can send it out to your friends who it may be the right time to practice.  If you are in Maryland, you can call Su Co Bao Co 240-551-1923. You can contact her for any information, or you can join with her in meditation session to practice and refresh and enjoy.

Have a good weekend, and happy Father’s Day. Thank you.
