1040: Suffering Is Not Everlasting – Mantra#1 – Mu A Mu Sa

Nam Mo Shakyamuni

Mu A Mu Sa

Good morning every friend. This is on YouTube That Bao Huyen Mon, and on Facebook. It is wonderful for us to get together to sit down for a moment that we activate our real life. Spiritual life is really important for everyone, we forget because we are busy. If we are able to maintain our time to practice it will benefit a lot for us to get to know about ourselves. There are so many different kinds of techniques to meditate. Meditate for health, for mental states, for the spiritual connection. Meditate to just enjoy life. To activate or cultivate ourselves with the nature within or to transform the negative energy within. There are so many reasons for every one of us to practice meditation. But our methods is different because we all know now everything that functions in the right order is always need the right energy. The best and the right energy is the energy from compassion, that is all. Very easy. So when we practice our meditation technique, we focus on the mindfulness breathing technique, together with the mantra, Mu A Mu Sa. Just saying an easy way for us. The Mantra Mu A Mu Sa is the key for you to open the door to step in the deepest subconsciousness for us to explore the mystery of the nature that we are here for. We are able to activate and enjoy ourselves, because activation with the original self helps us to know more and more about ourselves every day. Today we practice meditation to meditate on suffering.

Buddha says suffering is not everlasting. It comes and it goes. It never stays, but however we always stick with the suffering which is caused by many different things. Therefore, we hold ourself back. In the box of the past which is already very dark. We bury our head into that. Never want to get out. So life gets darker. But today we activate our energy with the compassion energy of the Buddha to get to know the truth that all suffering is not everlasting. To set ourselves free to enjoy, don’t hold back, or don’t stay with whatever causes the problems of suffering and moaning. Let’s move beyond. Let go and rejoin with the happiness.

So we practice first. We put the right hand the Wisdom hand, we name the left hand the Compassion hand. You put the wisdom on top of compassion. You just follow what we are doing for those who are just a new student who joined with us today. But for those who already know just follow together. We share a little information to explain how the energy flows, but we need to practice. Sitting with us even just one day benefits us for the whole week. So please sit down in the position that you feel comfortable. Make sure the hip joints are loose. Relax your entire body. Keep you backbone straight, stretch up your neck. All you do is just do the breathing technique in and out. Be aware, in and out. Then fill with that, connect with the breathing. Mindful with the breathing, watching your breathing in and out, and also conscious of the energy flow. When we practice chanting the mantrat Mu A Mu Sa, our physical body will vibrate. The vibration will deliver the energy, liberate us. Just enjoy the movement of the energy within. The energy that flows within us is just like a river. The river of the energy of the spirit will flow. Just watch your breathing.

May all sentient beings be free of suffering and receive compassion energy from all Buddhas from ten different directions. Breathe in, expanding your belly. You hole it there for three seconds. Concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra: Mu A Mu Sa.

You just maintain the sitting position and just keep doing your breathing technique in and out, chanting silently the Mu A Mu Sa. Be aware of the energy flowing within your body. Through the Buddha, connected with the master and all of us just like the whole network. When we are chanting the mantra Mu A Mu Sa, we all connect with the real energy from the Buddha. The master is just the electrician, come and do all the job to run the wire around your house and turn on the switch for the light to work. The nature within you is the light, but you need the electrician to help. Buddha and master with the energy. Therefore, after we enjoy to just turn it on every day to have a light to see through the darkness of our thoughts. The most darkness is always thinking that suffering always exists. We always think that suffering is never gone. Most of us are always holding onto the suffering to express our emotional feelings. Buddha said, the more you lean on suffering, the more it makes you to believe that suffering is the reality of life. So, we forget happiness therefore life is always suffering. Buddha is the Master, he is the enlightened one, he knows for sure that not only suffering there for us to be, but happiness is always. Suffering comes and goes. Why we say suffering is not everlasting. Because we just do not know, we don’t understand, and we think that way. It is just like you walk in the home with no light. It is too dark. You think the darkness is always there. When you turn on the switch, the light is gone, the darkness is gone. Buddha knows how to turn on the happiness. The happiness light when It is turned on all the darkness of the suffering will be gone. Life is not for us to sit down and cry and suffer. If you think that is the only goal for living life, and you create more suffering. Life is terrible because the bad feelings, negative thoughts take over. It is time for us to take charge of our life. Time for us to know suffering is not everlasting. Happiness is within, it is never gone. That is the truth. Where is the happiness come from? From the Buddha nature, the nature of all human beings, the nature of the truth is happiness, not suffering. In order for us to be happy every day, we have to make sure and understand that suffering is not everlasting, and we have to recognize the presence of happiness is always within us. How you fill with happiness? Buddha says, be mindful with your breathing. Mindfulness breathing brings us back to the original sense, the original nature, that our dusting from the suffering makes us never see the truth of happiness. Just blow it away by breathing in and out very slowly, and fill with your breathing in and out. When you breath in you fill with that from the beginning to the end. You use the breathing technique to practice to be present now in the moment here where we are living.

So many distractions. That is why we suffer. Pulling us back to the darkness. But if we can enjoy our life. It is really important, we need that. We need to gather all to go back to ourselves. From that we offer our happiness energy to take care of all our loved ones, and also to maintain our health. It is really important, the more you suffer, the more you get sick. The more you suffer your thoughts get along with the darkness, the negative mode. We have two friends, suffering or happiness. Which one to talk to become our best friends. That is our choice. For me, happiness is a good friend.

Right now, just keeping breathing in and out filled with all the energy. From the top of your head to the tip of your toes. When you breathe in be conscious of the energy. Stick with that energy and lead that energy into any thought which still hold on inside about whatever causes you suffering. The compassion energy will activate, wash away, and transform it, and purify your energy for you to be more happy. It is a very simple technique. Don’t need to push very hard. Just work very easy, take it easy and relax. The nature of the compassion energy knows exactly what to do. There is no need to do anything. Just relax and rejoin. Let’s do a couple more breathing techniques. Make sure you are filled with the energy from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. Your entire body needs to be relaxed. No matter which part of your body feels the vibrations of the energy flow, just let it flow.

We are thinking about our loved ones, who still suffer, and may the Buddha energy and our merit offer to them to transform all their suffering. Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra: Muuu Aaaa Muuu Saaa.

When you are sounding the mantra, depending on your long or short breath, don’t push it too hard. I could be chanting it a little long. Follow your own body. In order to relax.

May all our loved ones who are still addicted to some activity that harms their mind, and pulls away their thought and are not able to concentrate. May they receive our merit energy and the compassion energy to transform their thought and recreate their activation for them to no longer be addicted too. Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there, breathe out, sunken the belly chanting: Muuuu Aaaa Muuu Saaa.

May all of us understand that suffering is not everlasting and get along with the happiness within us to transform and clean up the darkness within, and may all our loved ones no longer suffer physically, mentally and spiritually. Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra: Muuu Aaaa Muuu Saaa.

May all the community, society, family and friends, receive a great compassion energy to transform all kinds of suffering and understand the light of the wisdom, the light of compassion is here to be, suffering is gone. Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra: Muuu Aaaa Muuu Saaa.

You keep sitting, maintaining the position you feel comfortable, and conscious of the energy flowing within your body and relax. Compassion energy is the source of the energy which comes from the Buddha connected deep with the Buddha nature within us. We are all equally the same. Don’t turn our back away from the energy within us. Let’s return and connect with it. Together we can offer the good energy to connect with all our loved ones.

Love is really important, happiness is really needed for our life, not suffering. When we are chanting the mantra Mu A Mu Sa, relax the whole body. You will fill with the vibration that vibrates the entire body. The energy flows within your body. When you are breathing in expanding your belly, the oxygen in your body converts into a good energy heating up and flowing to the top of your head, where the energy vibrates, and flows around your entire body.

Just fill with the energy. We all know that suffering is not everlasting. Happiness is here for us to be. The truth living spirit is living with happiness, not suffering. Time for us to regain our life. You feel the energy flow, just let it flow. Whatever in the past that caused suffering within you, let the energy flow within to transform it. The compassion energy is just like water, washing away all your suffering. Together we practice, we will increase a lot more compassion energy to awaken our happiness. To push and wash away the suffering. We don’t need to suffer. Suffering does not need to be with us, it comes and goes, it is not everlasting. That is what we know.

May all the Buddhas bless us, activate our compassion energy, and may all our loved ones, especially who we know they are still very week, they still suffer, they are still addicted to something that is not good. We offer and reach out to those offering our merit energy, compassion energy through the master through our selves, they are going to receive it to make a good solution for this new year. Breathe in, expanding the belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken the belly, chanting the mantra: Muuuu Aaaaaa Muuu Saaa.

May all sentient beings be free of suffering and receive compassion energy from all Buddhas in the ten direction. Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra: Muuu Aaaa Muuu Saaa.

Time went by very fast. It is more than 30 minutes already gone by. This is like breakfast. We just eat a little but it gives us energy for the whole day. Breakfast is very important, whoever skips breakfast will have very low energy. Even a very little food works very well. Even just 30 minutes of practicing is very simple. If you are willing to dedicate 30 minutes every Saturday with me and our friends here at Xa Loi Temple here in Frederick, on YouTube and Facebook it will help your life. We all practice together to motivate each other and reactivate our good energy for us to recognize that suffering is not everlasting and we don’t let suffering take over our life. By doing so we are creating a good merit energy. We enrich our power. So, we can offer to all our loved ones who need it. We care for our life. Because we love all our loved ones, then we care for what we practice, and we care for their life too. Thank you for practicing together with us this Saturday. May all Buddhas bless all of us and our loved ones, May we all recognize suffering is not everlasting. Yes, we need to transform our life in order to live happily. Have a good weekend.

Thank you.
